Ajay Devgn’s much-awaited upcoming film has had its trailer released on 22 February. Helmed by Vikas Bahl, the two-minute video shows a roller coaster of unexpected elements encircling to produce an electric duet of two talents, Jyotika and R Madhavan.
Hell breaks loose in ‘Shaitaan’ because R Madhavan decides to barge into the house of Ajay Devgn and Jyotika, where the two, along with their daughter, have been residing. Although he has maintained that it will be a short trip, he is unwilling to leave even after 15 minutes. As Ajay Devgn tries to enforce it against his will, his daughter surprisingly supports R Madhavan as she is hypnotized by him. It can be understood how deeply she is hypnotized as she takes extreme measures like inflicting injury on herself, slapping herself and even hitting her father. How far they can save her in the end forms the crux of the story.
‘Shaitaan’ is already being given a perception that it is a Hindi remake of a very popular Gujarati movie titled ‘Vash’. The picture is presented by Jio Studios, Ajay Devgn Films, and Panorama Studios International, and produced by Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, Kumar Mangat Pathak, and Abhishek Pathak. The music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
It is scheduled to be theatrically released on 8 March, 2024.
