A new controversy has erupted within the realm of social media, embroiling fitness influencers and YouTubers Rajat Dalal and Rajveer Singh Sisodia. The spark igniting this conflict was a video where Dalal openly issued threats against Sisodia.
The origins of this dispute trace back to a few days prior, when both individuals engaged in a heated exchange on social media. Initially, they had planned to settle their differences through physical combat in Bahadurgarh, Haryana. However, this planned confrontation has been called off, with Sisodia citing explicit advice from the Haryana police, who emphasized strict enforcement of the law.
Sisodia further alleges collusion between Dalal and the police, raising suspicions regarding their impartiality. It’s noteworthy that Dalal belongs to the Jaat community in Faridabad, while Sisodia hails from Ghaziabad as a Rajput. Sisodia initially agreed to the proposed fight but later backed out after the police intervened, taking note of the escalating tension fueled by viral social media exchanges.
The involvement of the Haryana Police became apparent when they posted a tweet on Saturday, warning of severe consequences for those promoting violence, hatred, or breaking the law.
The sequence of events unfolded as follows: According to Sisodia, Dalal disparaged him during an Instagram Live session, following which a face-to-face challenge ensued. However, Dalal contends that both parties orchestrated the conflict merely for social media attention, dismissing Sisodia’s seriousness and perceiving the matter as a jest.
A few days prior, Sisodia and another fitness influencer, Aadi Nagar, went to Faridabad to confront Dalal, who failed to appear. Sisodia alleged that Dalal had verbally abused him, prompting the visit to seek an apology. Subsequently, a video surfaced where one of Sisodia’s associates purportedly made Dalal apologize.
The tensions peaked when a viral video captured Sisodia’s associates verbally confronting Dalal in an attempt to provoke a physical altercation. Dalal concluded his live stream by expressing willingness to engage in a confrontation if Sisodia desired, extending an invitation to Bahadurgarh for the proposed altercation.
Dalal, known as a powerlifter, boasts an Instagram following of over 1.2 million, while Sisodia, who operates a gym in Ghaziabad, commands a following of over 1.4 million on the platform. Since the onset of this rivalry, both individuals have resorted to threatening each other, showcasing their respective support from their fan bases on Instagram.
