Patna: The development fund of MLAs and MLCs has been raised from ₹ 3 crores to ₹ 4 crores annually, said an official. The cabinet, with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in the chair, okayed this decision. Following this decision, the MLAs and MLCs can now draw more funds under the chief minister local area development scheme (CMLADS), he said.
The hike will be effective from the current financial year.
